The Build · 7 Steps · ~12 Weeks

From sketch to first swim.

Twelve weeks. Seven well-defined stages. One accountable team from your first phone call to the day we hand you the automation app login. Here's how a Custom Pools of Naples build actually comes together.

01
Week 1 · ~90 minutes on-site

Design Consultation

We come to you and walk the property — slope, view, sun exposure, drainage, lanai footprint, and setbacks. A first layout gets sketched right there while we're standing in the yard.

You'll get a real read on what's possible on your specific lot, a ballpark budget that isn't theoretical, and an honest "yes / no / let's talk" on the timeline you're working with.

You leave withSite notes · Rough sketch · Ballpark budget
02
Weeks 2–3

3D Render & Engineered Plan

We turn the consultation sketch into a full 3D rendering with both daytime and evening lighting passes. You see the pool, the deck, the spa, the fire bowls — exactly as it will sit — before a single shovel hits dirt.

Once you sign off on the render, we engineer it: structural drawings, hydraulics, electrical, gas. That's what gets stamped, permitted, and bid against.

You leave with3D render · Construction drawings · Fixed bid · Signed contract
03
Week 4 · Dig day + cleanup

Excavation

Dig day. The basin is cored to the engineered depths. In Southwest Florida we're often working through limestone cap rock and a high water table — we call that out the same day, and adjust the design before it becomes a surprise on your invoice.

You leave withExcavated basin · Site cleanup · Soil report
04
Weeks 5–6

Steel, Plumbing & Electrical

Rebar cage tied to the engineered drawings. Suction lines, return jets, main drain, light niches, and gas runs are roughed in. The pool's "skeleton" is locked in before any concrete touches it. City inspection signs off.

You leave withSteel inspection · Plumbing pressure test · Electrical rough-in
05
Weeks 7–8

Gunite & Shell

Gunite is shot pneumatically into the steel cage and hand-troweled into shape — including the benches, the steps, the spa, and any custom raised features. The 28-day cure begins.

You leave withCured gunite shell · Benches and steps shaped to spec
06
Weeks 9–11

Decking, Tile & Coping

Waterline tile is set, coping is laid, the paver or travertine deck goes in, and — this being Florida — the screen enclosure (lanai) is framed and screened. This is when the pool finally starts to look like the render — and when most of our clients send us their first "wow" text.

You leave withTile + coping set · Deck poured or stone laid · Equipment installed
07
Week 12 · First swim

Plaster, Fill & Owner Walkthrough

Pebble plaster is troweled in. Water on. We walk you through startup chemistry, the automation app, and what to watch for in your first month of ownership. Then we hand you the keys.

We don't disappear after fill day — we service every pool we build, for as long as you own it.

You leave withPool filled · Automation programmed · Owner walkthrough · Service relationship begins
Next Step

Bring your lot to step 01.
